Red and Blue

Scrolling through instagram I found inspiration from pixel artwork. I later heard a lo-fi version of the Pokémon theme. I dug into these themes by using a bit crusher on the pianos to give a nostalgic video game feel. Being inspired by Pokemon I named the song Red and Blue after the first two Pokémon games. I used a recording of birds as Pokemon for me is all about exploring the outdoors. Just as video games take us to a different place Red and Blue can transport listeners to calmer place.
