Take Out

Take Out slows the pace and tightens the tension. Strings crawl through a slow, creeping arrangement while drums drive the beat forward underneath. The contrast is the point: the melody unsettles, the rhythm keeps moving, and the track never lets the listener fully relax.

The title plays two ways: an assassin taking out a target, and Chinese takeout. The first suits the track’s slow, stalking tension, and the second is the wink.
