Recess

I recently watched the opening scene of the movie Up. It made me think of how fast life happens. One day I’m a kid in Oklahoma learning guitar the next I’m an adult living in New York making Lofi music. All the things in between especially the small ones go by so fast and it’s important to hold on to those moments. On Recess I wanted to capture a memory of being a kid on the playground. With this song I hope listeners can hold on to that feeling and their memories easier.
