In Passing

On the New York Subway, I can see someone once and then never again. Everyone has small things that I notice on the subway, could be a tattoo, clothing, or a nice smile. Giving a compliment in passing costs nothing. These quick interactions are what I wanted to bring to this song. I created sections with small differences through the high pass filter, arpeggiated keys, and clicks with reverb. These are small interactions that listeners can notice & hopefully notice small compliments to give others.
