Diving deeper into Jazz chords Inspired the chord progression for Commute. Changing between a few chords on the verses helps the listener focus while the airy chords in the middle of the song gives time to breathe and be blank before refocusing on the work ahead. I do a lot of deep thinking on my commute and wanted this song to be a soundtrack for listeners to pause, reflect, and chill.
